Today I decided I need to blog. This year I am in a new teaching assignment at a new campus. I am working harder than I've worked (as a teacher) in the past ten years but loving my job like I've never loved it before. So I'm documenting it. Maybe to try to replicate it. Maybe just to remember it.

In my panic to fumble along in a moderately competent way through the AP Art History sections I was assigned, I have not done well with my Advanced Drawing section so far this year. My attempt to change that situation begins on Thursday. Tonight and tomorrow (between bouts of grading APAH unit 3 exams and continuing to research for the next bit of the current unit), I'm going to work on developing a good 5E lesson for that drawing class, organized around the idea of "systems." Wish me luck.
